:D finally a post to make this blog alive , anyways , the ncos have kindly lent us their npcc text (the book) for those who did not pass the cc test to revise becos the retest is coming up soon . Also , they want us to learn the sizing command before they teach us in detail on the next activity , therefore please be familiar with the sizing command , you may get the book from me (it might be with other ppl) to learn the campcraft stuff , as for the sizing command , i have posted it here , but you can also borrow the book to learn . Please remember to take care of the book as it is other people's property and not ours , our npcc text will be arriving very soon . so don't worry too much about memorising everything . PS , there IS activity this saturday , activity starts at 1pm , so don't be late .


Advanced Drill


1.Sizing command


a)Yang tinggi ke-kanan, rendah ke-kiri, dalam satu barisan paras (tallest on
the right, shortest on the left in 1 rank, size)


•Execute keluar baris
•Form a straight line with tallest on the right and shortest on the left
•Timing: turn-check-bang-check-1-2-3
•Common mistakes:
-Line formed is not straight
-The height order is wrong


b)Dari kanan/kiri/kanan dan kiri angka dua bilang (from the right, number off)
•Number yourself by shouting satu and dua, starting from the direction specified in the command


•Timing: none
•Common mistakes:
-Numbers are not shouted out clearly or loudly
-2 adjacent people shouting out the same number


c)Nombor ganjil satu langkah ke-hadapan, nombor genap satu langkah ke-belakang gerak (odd numbers take one pace forward, even numbers take one pace backwards)


•Those who shouted satu take 1 step forward using their left foot and bang
•At the same time, those who shouted dua take 1 step backward using their left foot and bang
•Timing: 1-bang
•Common mistakes:
-The 2 rows formed are not straight
-2 adjacent people moving in the same direction


d)Orang yang di-sabelah ke-kanan diam, nombor ganjil ke-kanan, nombor genap ke-kiri, barisan ke-kanan dan ke-kiri pusing (Right marker does not move, odd numbers turn to the right, even numbers turns to the left)


•Right marker stays put
•Those who shouted satu turns right
•At the same time those who shouted dua turns left
•Timing: turn-check-bang
•Common mistakes:
-Turning in the wrong direction (clockwise/anti-clockwise)
-Hands not locked by the side


e)Jadikan dua/tiga barisan chepat jalan (form 2/3 ranks, quick march)


•Start marching and bang when you have reached your position
•When the whole squad is in position, the timer will give the timing for the squad to turn and face the front
•Timing: 2-3-4-turn-check
•Common mistakes:
-Insufficient space between each column and rank
-Banging not in order
-The squad is formed wrongly
